Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was spotted supporting the Clemson football team from the sidelines as the Tigers take on Georgia in Charlotte.
With the NFL off for a week, former Clemson football legend Trevor Lawrence was seen on the Tigers’ sidelines supporting his guys as they took on the Georgia Bulldogs.
Lawrence was drafted No. 1 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars last spring. He will make his first regular-season start next Sunday on the road vs. the AFC South rival Houston Texans. While he is no longer a resident of the Carolinas, it is great to see him in Charlotte taking in the signature game of Labor Day Weekend in college football. He is watching D.J. Uiagalelei earnestly like us all.
At 6-foot-6 with flowing blonde locks, Lawrence is one of the NFL’s most recognizable players.

While Clemson is expected to be a serious national title contender this year, much like they have throughout the Dabo Swinney era, this will be a rebuilding season down in Jacksonville. Though Lawrence has an excellent former college head coach to lean on in Urban Meyer, the NFL is untrodden territory for both of them. Together, they must reclaim the sunken Jaguars franchise.
He has since relocated to a suite at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte to take in the game.
