Joey Bosa and Ezekiel Elliott will always be Ohio State football teammates, no matter what.
Though they make their livings professionally for different NFL franchises, we should never forget what Joey Bosa and Ezekiel Elliott accomplished as Ohio State football teammates.
Bosa’s Los Angeles Chargers hosted Elliott’s Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon in Week 2. While America’s Team got the best of the Bolts that day, they shared a special moment after the game with the proverbial jersey swap. Together, they helped the Buckeyes win the inaugural College Football Playoff as sophomores on the unforgettable 2014 team that defied the odds.
Fate would have it, they went right after each other in the 2016 NFL Draft with Bosa to the Chargers at No. 3 and Elliott to the Cowboys at No. 4.
Ohio State football forever: Joey Bosa, Ezekiel Elliott share special NFL moment
Given that the Chargers and the Cowboys play in opposite conferences, they only get to play each other during the regular season every four years. Factor in Elliott playing the most physically demanding position in football, and we have to wonder how many more opportunities these two Ohio State football legends will get to face each other on an NFL field. We must cherish Sunday.
While Ohio State is having a challenging season, Bosa and Elliott are a reminder of greatness.
