We have reached Week 3 of the 2021 NFL season, and here are ten sleeper fantasy football quarterbacks to target this weekend.
With two weeks in the books, hopefully, your fantasy football season is off on the right foot. If it is not, maybe it is time to turn the page on your quarterback, as some big-time signal-callers have gotten off to a slow start to the 2021 NFL season.
Here, we look at ten quarterbacks who could get the job done for you in Week 3.
10 QB sleepers to target for fantasy football NFL 2021 Week 3
10. Jimmy Garoppolo vs. Green Bay Packers
We start in the NFC, where the Green Bay Packers will look to build off a strong showing this past Monday night, as they take on the San Francisco 49ers. While Aaron Rodgers of the Packers is going to be a must-start, the other signal-caller in this game could be a solid play as well.
In Week 1, we witnessed Jameis Winston throw for five touchdowns against this Packers defense, though they played much better against the Detroit Lions in Week 2. However, Jared Goff did have some room to work in that Packers secondary, and a player like Jimmy Garoppolo could find more success than he did this weekend.
Garoppolo is never going to put up monster statistics, but he is a guy who limits his mistakes and should have plenty of opportunities against the Packers, who will be on a short week. If this becomes a shootout, Jimmy G has a ton of weapons at his disposal, which would be the best-case scenario for fantasy owners.
9. Daniel Jones vs. Atlanta Falcons
Something has to give for the 2021 New York Giants, as they have once again gotten off to a 0-2 start. This was supposed to be the year that they took a big step forward, this after adding more talent to the defense, and getting star running back Saquon Barkley back.
Unfortunately, their struggles remain, but on Sunday, they have a chance to finally get into the win column for the first time this season. That is because the Atlanta Falcons will come to town to play the G-Men, and it will be a special day, as the franchise will retire Eli Manning’s No. 10.
For quarterback Daniel Jones, he was not the problem in their last loss to the Washington Football Team, as he was one of the highest-rated players of the week according to Pro Football Focus. Against Atlanta, who just gave up five touchdown passes to Tom Brady, Jones could be in for his best Sunday as a professional.
