Let’s take a quick look at three teams that could target Gordon.
Josh Gordon rumors: Who could sign him?
Seattle Seahawks
Gordon played five games with the Seahawks in 2019. He had seven receptions for 139 yards. His season was cut short in December after he was suspended for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, once again. Following the season, the Seahawks still re-signed him.
However, Gordon’s suspension from December of 2019 was extended indefinitely due to Gordon violating the terms of his conditional reinstatement.
Subsequently, the Seahawks released Gordon.
Well, the Seahawks clearly had interest in bringing Gordon back after his five-game stint with them. Furthermore, quarterback Russell Wilson has raved about Gordon’s ability. In 2019, Wilson called him “an amazing receiver“.
The Seahawks have a talented pair of wide receivers in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Adding Gordon to the mix could give them one of the most talented wide receiver groups in the NFL.
