Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr looks at away games against the Los Angeles Chargers as home games.
The Las Vegas Raiders are traveling to Los Angeles to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. The Raiders are 3-0 and quarterback Derek Carr isn’t worried about hitting the road to take on the Chargers and their fans at SoFi Stadium.
Las Vegas and Los Angeles both recently relocated to new cities, but a lack of fans in the stands for the Chargers has been an issue. Carr and the Raiders left Oakland, CA to go to Las Vegas and the Chargers moved across state, from San Diego to Los Angeles.
Derek Carr says that playing against the Los Angeles Chargers in California feels like Las Vegas Raiders home games
Carr just gave Los Angeles bulletin-board material.
Derek isn’t wrong. However, he better be careful because the Chargers are reeling off of a Week 3 30-24 upset against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Carr has had an impressive start to the season so far and has thrown for 1,203 yards and six touchdowns. Las Vegas knocked off both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens back-to-back to start out the year, so Derek has some room to talk.
Quarterback Justin Herbert is the answer that Los Angeles has been seeking to lead the team on offense. The Chargers last made the playoffs in 2018, for a total of 14 times in 55 seasons, and are a team to watch this season.
After securing a victory in Arrowhead Stadium, Los Angeles deserves to have fans fill the stands on primetime television against a division rival. Will Carr once again look up and see more black and silver than blue and yellow?
