Myles Garrett calls out NFL for totally ‘random’ drug test

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett took to Twitter to talk about a ‘random’ drug test he received.

Myles Garrett, defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, frequently impresses with his combination of athleticism and size. At 6-4, 271 pounds, Garrett is always showcasing his elite ability on and off the field.

On Monday night, Garrett joked that his intimidating stature is what prompted a ‘random’ drug test from the NFL.

Garrett, who has always played in long sleeves, decided to try something different for Sunday’s game and he believes it backfired as the league office wants to make sure his arms are a product of honest work and genetics.

Browns: Myles Garrett dominates, gets tested

Surely, the league will argue that’s not the reason Garrett is being tested and it is actually random. Not random, is Garrett’s dominance through the first four weeks of the season. After four games, Garrett leads the NFL in sacks with six. In Week 3 against the Chicago Bears, Garrett record 4.5 sacks as part of a nine sack outing from the Browns.

Cleveland on the year is 3-1 and has experienced a defensive surge over the past two games behind Garrett. After holding the Bears to 47 yards of offense, the Browns limited the Minnesota Vikings to 255 yards and seven points. With an offense that is talented as well, Garrett and the Browns have their eyes set on a deep playoff run.

It can definitely be possible as long as Garrett and Cleveland keeps turning out performances like the last two weeks, but Garrett may want to put his sleeves back on.
