Russell Wilson had a special message for Seahawks fans on his TokTok page after undergoing thumb surgery.
You think Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is scared of a little adversity? No chance. Time and time again the star signal-caller has said he embraces challenges and will never back down from them.
Such is the case with him undergoing thumb surgery last week after suffering his injury in the Thursday Night Football loss going up against the Los Angeles Rams. Wilson isn’t worried whatsoever about coming back stronger than ever. He made that much clear in his latest TikTok for fans to enjoy.
@dangerusswilson Fear is not for me. Fear is not for you. #DangerThoughts
Russell Wilson is focused coming back stronger from his thumb surgery
As you can see from the video above, Wilson has no fear in him right now. While he might have been a little down in the dumps right after he was informed he needed to have surgery and miss multiple weeks for Seattle, he quickly flushed that feeling.
Now, Wilson is focused on his rehab and doing everything he can to make sure he can get himself back on the field as soon as possible. When healthy, he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the game. Seattle’s offense is totally different without him in action, however.
With Wilson sidelined, head coach Pete Carroll will now have Geno Smith run the offense. While Smith looked strong at times against the Rams in Week 5, he simply isn’t the same kind of electric player that Wilson is. Seattle could be in for a long night going up against the powerful Steelers defense on Sunday night.
For Wilson, though, he’ll be cheering on Smith and his teammates in hopes of an upset win being recorded. Seattle, 2-3 on the year, will hope that Wilson can power through his treatments and get himself back on the gridiron as soon as possible.
