Let’s break down 10 tight end sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 7.
Week 7 will mark the bye week for several impactful fantasy tight ends including Dalton Schultz, Dawson Knox, Jared Cook, and Tyler Conklin. If you are searching for a sleeper to start this week, here are ten options.
10. Jack Stoll, Philadelphia Eagles
Rostered: 0.0%
Jack Stoll was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft. This season, he has been firmly behind Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert on the depth chart. Stoll has zero targets through six weeks.
However, Stoll might have the opportunity to serve as the Eagles’ top tight end on Sunday. Ertz was traded to the Arizona Cardinals. In addition, Goedert is on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
In order to return, Goedert will need to produce two negative tests 24 hours apart. He was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on October 12th, so there is a chance that he can return. Nevertheless, he missed Wednesday’s practice and remains on the list.
If Goedert remains out, Stoll is a nice under-the-radar option, as he will become the starting tight end in Philadelphia’s offense, which is tied for tenth in total tight end targets. Goedert’s status should be monitored over the next couple of days.
9. C.J. Uzomah, Cincinnati Bengals
Rostered: 6.0%
C.J. Uzomah is not heavily involved in the Bengals’ passing attack, but he has now scored three touchdowns across his past three games.
This Sunday, he will face the Ravens’ defense, which has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season.
He is an intriguing touchdown-dependent flier if you are looking for a streamer this week.
