With the Denver Broncos potentially trading Von Miller before the deadline, could the Kansas City Chiefs potentially make a move here?
With the NFL trade deadline arriving next week, countless teams will be ready to try and make some big moves to help them get over the top ahead of the postseason. For others, they’ll look to be sellers, which could be the case for the Denver Broncos.
In a major twist, insider Jason La Canfora is reporting that multiple teams could be ready to go all in to try and trade for star pass-rusher Von Miller. Miller is an absolute monster in the trenches. With that said, could the Kansas City Chiefs make a move here?
Von Miller very well could end up getting traded in the coming days
The fact that Miller might suit up elsewhere to close the season is wild to think about. He’s a fan favorite in Denver, as he’s been nothing short of sensational since joining the team back in 2011. He’s been a First-Team All-Pro with Denver three times.
Miller has 110.5 sacks to his name with the Broncos, including 4.5 this season in seven games. He’s recorded double-digit sacks in seven campaigns. That just goes to show you how great he is at putting pressure on the quarterback.
For Chiefs fans hoping Miller makes his way to Kansas City, it doesn’t seem like that could happen in this case, though. Denver would absolutely hate to send someone of his caliber to a division rival. Miller could be the kind of impact player for Kansas City’s defense to help them turn things around.
The Chiefs are 3-4 on the season and fans are furious with the team’s play. Miller could massively help the defense, but again, Denver will likely look to send him elsewhere instead of an AFC West foe.
