Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has accused Harrison Smith of choking him and the team will send video of the play in for review.
Sunday night’s showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings sure was a fantastic one. Dallas, with Cooper Rush running the offense, pulled off a stunning road win over Minnesota.
In that victory, star wideout CeeDee Lamb had himself a fantastic performance, as he caught six balls for 112 yards. One of those catches came on a trick play, with receiver Cedrick Wilson hitting Lamb for a 35-yard gain.
After that catch, though, it looked like Harrison Smith was a bit too aggressive in making the tackle. Lamb told teammates that Smith was choking him while he was down on the turf.

Head coach Mike McCarthy saw a replay of the play in question and he let the media know on Wednesday that the team will be sending it to the league office for review. When taking a look at the clip above, you can see Harrison grab a hold of Lamb, with the receiver desperately trying to get free.
It’s not a great look for Smith here, but we’ll have to wait and see what decision the league comes too. Other than that, things seem to be going pretty swimmingly for the Cowboys. The team is 6-1 on the year and it’s going to take some sort of a miracle for them to not win the NFC East this winter.
While Dak Prescott missed the win over Minnesota due to his injured calf, he’s expected to be back in action this weekend against Denver. Lamb will be ready to haul in plenty more balls too for Dallas.
