The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New York Jets 33-18, thanks to a strong performance by quarterback Gardner Minshew. After the game, there was some drama.
Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley said during his press conference that teams are not showing respect to them, including the Eagles. Mosley claimed the Eagles did not shake hands during the pregame coin toss and that defensive lineman Fletcher Cox laughed at head coach Robert Saleh when he “fought for a call.”
Cox pulled out the receipts, as he posted a photo of himself and Mosley hugging during the coin toss with the caption reading “respect the game…one thing that Fletch will always do.”

As you can see in Cox’s post, he posted the photo and pivoted to Philadelphia’s “great team win” on Sunday before their bye week.
The Eagles offense thrived against the Jets defense on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia put up 418 yards of offense, 233 on passes and 185 on runs.The Jets offense. on the other hand, could not do much against the Eagles. Even though New York put up 18 points on the board, they could only put up 281 yards of total offense on the day.
Cox recorded four tackles on the day, while Mosley posted 13 tackles, tied for a season-high.
The Eagles are on a bye week, but the Jets have a chance to pick up their fourth-win of the season against a New Orleans Saints team currently on a five-game losing streak.
