Regardless of who the Dallas Cowboys face in the Wild Card Round, Dak Prescott will be ready to ball out.
Dak Prescott’s confidence is through the roof right now. Not only did the Dallas Cowboys take down the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night, but Prescott put on a show and tossed for five touchdowns, breaking Tony Romo’s single-season TD record with the team.
Now, the Cowboys will have to wait and see who they’ll take on next weekend in the NFC Wild Card Round of the playoffs. Regardless of which defense lines up to try and stop Prescott, the star signal-caller made it clear he’ll be ready to face the challenge head on.
Dak Prescott doesn’t care who the Cowboys take on in the postseason
That’s the kind of mindset that Dallas supporters surely love seeing. While the Cowboys offense has looked rough in recent games, Prescott went ahead and shut up all of his haters with his brilliant performance in Philly over the weekend.
It must be remembered, though, that the Eagles rested the majority of their starters. Having said that, Prescott still tossed for five scores and that’s quite impressive. Once the playoffs arrive, however, it will be a completely different animal for the Cowboys.
The pressure will be on Prescott to step up and power this team to the next round and beyond. After Jerry Jones gave Prescott his monster four-year extension, everyone in Texas has been hoping Prescott would one day be able to get America’s Team back to the Super Bowl.
Dallas has what it takes to surprise plenty of folks over the next month, but Prescott is going to have to play his absolute best. Any sluggish play won’t get the job done. Prescott isn’t worried about that, though, and he’ll be ready to keep the good times rolling for his squad.
