JuJu Smith-Schuster left all his pregame TikTok dances in Pittsburgh

JuJu Smith-Schuster left all his pregame TikToks in Pittsburgh, as the new Chiefs receiver claims he’s all about winning in Kansas City.

In the end, Smitch-Schuster is all about achieving his market value. Free agency was a rude awakening for the new Chiefs wide receiver, as the former Steeler was only about to garner a one-year contract worth just over $3 million in guaranteed money.

It’s essentially a prove-it deal, and Smith-Schuster intends to do just that with one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. While JuJu is bound to still stay active on the social media network, particularly with Jackson Mahomes in town (assuming he makes an appearance or two rather than moving to LA), none of those dances will come pregame.

Smith-Schuster infamously got in trouble with both opposing players and even Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin for dancing on teams’ logos before the start of road games.

“Do I see myself doing that here? I’m here to work…I came here to win,” Smith-Schuster said, per Aaron Ladd of Arrowhead Pride.

Chiefs: JuJu Smith-Schuster done with pregame TikToks

JuJu’s TikTok dances were a point of discontent in the Pittsburgh media, for better or worse. While it helped Smith-Schuster build his own personal brand and reach a younger audience, it often put a target on he and the Steelers before road contests, especially when his borderline disrespectful antics were made public.

“For the betterment of myself and my teammates, I’m going to stop dancing on the logos,” Smith-Schuster said last December.

The decision came after a private conversation with Mike Tomlin. While the Steelers head coach stated publicly that he didn’t have a problem with JuJu expressing himself pregame, it was quite obvious that the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals — two teams the Steelers played on the road two seasons ago late in the season — were offended by the antics and used it as motivation.
