FanSided breaks down the best bets to make on Championship Weekend.

There are just three games left in the NFL season and Championship Weekend looks to be a good one. There are some truly dynamic quarterback matchups in this round, setting us up for a brilliant weekend of football to punch a ticket to the Super Bowl.

The result of these competitive matchups is predictably tight spreads, which could impact how to bet the action this weekend. Let’s take a look at the five best bets to make this weekend, with all odds provided courtesy of the FanDuel Sportsbook.

5. NFL Championship Weekend best bets: Buffalo Bills money line

We haven’t touched on the money line yet this year but there is an interesting opportunity here with the Buffalo Bills, who opened the week at +134 in that department. Money line bets simply require a team to win outright and a savvy bettor should pounce on the Bills getting a positive money line total in the event that Patrick Mahomes can’t suit up due to a concussion.

The books had the Bills open as favorites due to the uncertainty surrounding Mahomes’ status but early bets shifted the action back to the Chiefs following a positive report about him postgame.

Lock in the Bills with the money line now in case Mahomes doesn’t play, which would result in worse payouts as odds flip, with this team having a good shot to win outright thanks to the string of tight games Kansas City has been playing of late.
