It will be on quarterback Jalen Hurts to try and right the ship for the Eagles in his first full season as the team’s presumed starter.
What in the world will Philadelphia Eagles fans be able to expect from their team come the 2021 season? It’s tough to say. Carson Wentz is officially out of town, as he’s now suiting up for the Indianapolis Colts.
While the Eagles haven’t named him the starter yet, it sure looks like second-year man Jalen Hurts will be leading out the offense come Week 1. After the team went 4-11-1 last year, the pressure will no doubt be on Hurts to try and turn things around. Will he be able to?
Eagles fans shouldn’t expect the team to compete for a playoff spot next season
While Hurts is no question an exciting player, it’s going to be tough for him to try and fix things all on his own. General manager Howie Roseman needed to be aggressive this offseason in trying to get him some offensive help, but that wasn’t the case.
Unfortunately for Eagles fans, we think it very well could be a season to forget for the organization. The Dallas Cowboys, on paper, appear to be the favorites to win the division, which will only add to the sting of things for Philly. We’re expecting them to close out the 2021 season with a 7-10 mark.
