Jordan Poyer defends his Buffalo Bills teammate Cole Beasley about being an anti-vaxxer.
Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer comes to the defense of his teammate and noted anti-vaxxer Cole Beasley.
Poyer went after Adam Zyglis on Twitter for a political cartoon he drew on Beasley and Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib for The Buffalo News. The political cartoon in question depicted Nassib in a positive light for coming out as an openly gay man earlier in the week. The depiction of Beasley largely contributed to Poyer having such a negative reaction over Twitter.
Poyer had previously not wanted to talk about the vaccine earlier in the NFL offseason.

While everybody has the right to choose if they want to receive the vaccine or not, those who are adamantly opposed to getting it like Beasley will be judged for it by those who have done their part.
Poyer may have been mum on the subject prior, but him showing this kind of vehement support of Beasley could have tipped his hand.
Either way, the Bills have a Super Bowl to win.
Ultimately, there are going to be NFL teams that surpass the COVID-19 vaccination threshold and those that will not. Those who do will be able to operate more in line with how the 2019 season went. Those who do not will see similar protocols that were in place last year.
