Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made an impressive, long-distance throw during practice on Thursday.
Out of all the teams to follow in the NFL, perhaps the one carrying the most intrigue throughout the 2021 season are the Green Bay Packers. That is due to it being, possibly, the final year that quarterback Aaron Rodgers plays in a Packers uniform. If it is, Cheeseheads are going to miss throws like the one he made in practice on Thursday.
The Packers’ official Twitter account posted a video of Rodgers attempting to hit a net from long distance. Of course, the reigning NFL MVP uncorked a beautiful throw and the football landed on target.
Packers fans will love Aaron Rodgers’ unreal throw in practice Thursday
Packers fans are going to cherish throws like this, especially if this is the “last dance’ for Rodgers in Green Bay.
On the night of the first-round of this year’s NFL Draft, reports indicated that Rodgers had no desire to play for Green Bay any longer. With the team having no desire to trade him, Rodgers held out of organized team activities and left the world waiting to see if he will report to training camp. Rodgers did show up for training camp after the team agreed to terms on a restructured contract, where they promised to trade the quarterback elsewhere if he has no desire to play in Green Bay beyond 2021.
Rodgers is coming off a 2020 season where he threw for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 70.7-percent of his passes. Those numbers helped land Rodgers his third NFL MVP award.
Packers fans can not wait to see Rodgers make ridiculous throws in the team’s Week 1 contest against the New Orleans Saints. Until then, enjoy the practice videos!
