Deshaun Watson posts a picture of himself in a Cleveland Browns uniform on Instagram.

Watson agreed to waive his no-trade clause on Friday afternoon. This sent shockwaves throughout the NFL, as it was believed the Browns were not a realistic suitor for him. They were the first team his camp crossed off, but the Cleveland brass backed up a BRINKS truck of epic proportions. Ultimately, money won out, and Baker Mayfield is going to be traded here shortly.
The former face of the Houston Texans franchise is the new starting quarterback in Cleveland.

He will be rocking the same No. 4 jersey as he did with the Texans. Though his predecessor was able to win the first playoff game for the Browns since 1994 only two years ago, the Cleveland brass traded for him because it believes Watson can take the Browns to the Super Bowl. Of course, Cleveland plays in a strong division that has four teams who are all realistic AFC playoff threats.
Ultimately, Watson going to Cleveland is going to be incredibly divisive. He may be the best quarterbacking talent they have employed since Otto Graham, but he carries a lot of baggage with him. Clearly, the Browns believe Watson will be the reason their fortunes forever change. Then again, nobody is really going to be rooting for them after this highly-controversial transaction.
At the very least, the Browns now have a quarterback who can take them to the promised land.
