Sean McVay got murked by a player on the Rams sidelines.
Ouch. Sean McVay is going to be feeling that tomorrow.
On Sunday, while his team, the Los Angeles Rams took on the Kansas City Chiefs, McVay was nearly knocked to his feet when he collided with a player returning to the field.
Watch the scary moment right here.
Sean McVay nearly gotten taken out by Shaun Jolly
In the video, Shaun Jolly turns and runs toward to game at the exact second that McVay turns to head downfield. McVay’s head is seen snapped back as it slammed into Jolly’s helmet, knocking McVay’s headphones off his face.
It then cuts to McVay rubbing his jaw where the collision occurred.
It’s a wonder with all the new rules that they didn’t put McVay in concussion protocol after this hit.
UPDATED
After the game, McVay addressed the injury.
“I’m thinking, ‘Have a little awareness running by me.’ I mean, oh my gosh,” McVay said postgame (h/t Los Angeles Times). “It’s really not that big a deal. I think it probably looked worse when you end up replaying it. … I don’t think I broke my jaw, so I’ll be fine.”
