Cleveland Browns Hard Knocks, episode 3: 5 things we learned

In this third episode of Hard Knocks with the Cleveland Browns, the storylines continue to develop as preseason continues and camp creeps to a close.

The development of Hard Knocks with the Cleveland Browns has been slow up to the third episode. In Week 1, we got an intro to the cast — learning finances from Carl Nassib, going inside the Quarterback RV with Brolan Roback, and seeing just how tough Hue Jackson is.

In the second episode, we got to see Corey Coleman’s sendoff, Antonio Callaway “punishment” for an off-the-field incident, and small-but-important improvements from Baker Mayfield.

In episode 3, things got to moving a little bit faster.

3. Jarvis Landry doesn’t play around

After a practice full of tugging and holding from Terrance Mitchell, Browns receiver Jarvis Landry finally had enough.

The two went back and forth, jawing for a portion of practice. After making a catch and going to the ground with Mitchell, Landry had enough. He got up and chucked the ball at Mitchell, prompting a skirmish between the two.

Little fights like these are common during training camp. Many players are fighting for jobs and won’t let anyone hurt their chances. Mitchell, currently a fourth team cornerback, needs to perform as well as he can to guarantee himself a job.

Luckily, no one got hurt.

Landry has already established himself as a leader in the wide receivers room on the show, and now he’s proven he isn’t afraid to tussle with grabby corners.
