The Cleveland Browns finally won a game, and the fans are going to enjoy some Bud Light after the fridges around Believeland were unlocked.
Let the fun begin. After waiting since Christmas Eve 2016 to win a game, the Cleveland Browns finally did it, and Bud Light is taking care of their fans.
Before the season, Bud Light stationed fridges of the beer around the city with padlock and chain on them. Once the Browns finally won. game, the padlocks would be opened, the chains would drop and the party would start. Well, Cleveland, party like it’s 1964.
Here are some tweets that say all you need to know about the developing situation.
Baker Mayfield was the reason everybody is getting free beer in Northeast Ohio, completing 17-of-23 passes for 201 yards in the comeback win. Cleveland fell behind 14-0 before rallying for a 21-17 victory in front of a raucous crowd at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Now, the Bud Light flows freely. Sure, it’s maybe not the best beer on the face of the earth, but who cares? Th Browns finally won a football game and it’s free. If it’s free, nobody has any right to complain. Either guzzle down some of that goodness, or go settle up at the bar and ask for another Blue Moon as you slap down a $10 on the mahogany.
This is one of the rare times that a win in Week 3 of the regular season truly means something. Cleveland deserves the free beer. Hell, they deserve the day off tomorrow, which is probably going to be something that happens en masse around the area.
