NFL Betting Guide, Week 4: Bet the mortgage on the Saints

If you followed our advice on Week 3 NFL betting guide you made some coin. Let’s make you even more money with a vulnerable Week 4 NFL schedule.

Congratulations to everyone who’s ridden with us through three weeks. Your faith paid off last week with our 3-2 record. Given all of the crazy results of Week 3, we’re pretty proud of that mark. The Panthers, Rams and Seahawks got us wins while Green Bay and Jacksonville let us down. It’s time to do even better this week.

If we’re being completely honest, there were a lot of lines we liked this week. Sometimes we struggle to come up with five solid plays for you. This was not one of those weeks. Instead, we had trouble narrowing it down to our top five. In other words, there’s money to be made this weekend.

We start our list with a really ugly game that features a pretty obvious winner. Watching this game might not be a good choice, but betting it is.

5. Back the Seahawks to ruin Josh Rosen’s day

The Seahawks defense isn’t what it used to be, but the Cardinals offense has been awful with Sam Bradford at the helm. That’s why Josh Rosen is going to get the start on Sunday. Don’t expect him to enjoy much success in his first start.

We’re not concerned with the three points you have to give up here. This won’t be a shootout by any means, but the Seahawks should be able to win by at least a touchdown. In games like this, you are wise to bet on the better quarterback. Russell Wilson is on a different planet than Rosen at this point in their respective careers.

This game could be near the top spot on a lot of our betting guides. The fact that it comes in at No. 5 this week shows you just how good we feel about this schedule. Feel great about taking the Seahawks -3. You should also feel free to tease the line out further to give the Cardinals a few extra points. Bet on Seattle to cover comfortably.
