Buffalo Bills

Give the Bills another win for their savage burn on Minnesota

While the Buffalo Bills are busy getting ready for the Green Bay Packers in Week 4, that didn’t stop them from producing a brilliant social media troll directed at the Minnesota Vikings.

Based on their lousy Week 1 and 2 performances against the Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers, few could have predicted a Buffalo Bills victory in Week 3 against a formidable Minnesota Vikings team.

The Bills shocked NFL fans all over the world by defeating the Vikings 27-6, making their social media snafu a thing of the past. This team did indeed show up in Minnesota with a mission, and their defense absolutely embarrassed a Kirk Cousins-led Vikings offense that would drop over 400 passing yards on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.

Buffalo will hope for a similarly breath-taking display against the Green Bay Packers and star signal-caller Aaron Rodgers on Sunday. It’s clear that they know where Green Bay is, and it’s also clear that they are brimming with confidence after upsetting Minnesota by 21 points.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. The “W” over the entire state of Minnesota was just *blows kiss into air while recalling Tre’Davious White’s coverage on Stefon Diggs*

So yeah, the Bills know their geography, they are ready to show up to defeat Green Bay in Week 4, and the entire Packers team will be put on notice after the Bills got back on track in a big way in Week 3. I’m still not convinced their win wasn’t a fluke, because let’s just say that I don’t have too much faith in Chris Ivory blowing up for 70 receiving yards again.

That said, if Josh Allen can get more out of his pass-catchers and the stingy Bills defense can continue to make big plays, then who knows what could happen? The Bills social media game is on point, and maybe their on-field product can be just as magnificent against their latest test from the NFC North.

The Bills vs. Packers game kicks off Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET, and since Randall Cobb hasn’t practiced all week for Green Bay, that’s one less weapon for Rodgers that Micah Hyde and White have to worry about neutralizing on gameday.
