Dallas Cowboys

Sorry Cowboys fans, but you’re stuck with Jason Garrett

The Dallas Cowboys have been an anemic offensive team all season, and Jerry Jones is sticking with his guy.

The Dallas Cowboys currently sit at 2-3 on the season and are actually pretty lucky to be as close to the division lead as they are. Their two wins came against the 1-5 New York Giants and a Detroit Lions team that they really had no business beating.

All of the struggles they’ve had this year and in previous years have fans wondering if Jerry Jones will finally get rid of Head Coach Jason Garrett.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have bad news for you. It looks like Garrett is here to stay.

Jones made it very clear that he still thinks that Garrett is the guy to lead this team to a Super Bowl. That’s a pretty bold statement, and it’s been proven over the last couple of seasons that Garrett most likely isn’t leading this team to the promised land.

Their last good opportunity was washed away after that infamous no catch call against Dez Bryant in the NFC Divisional Round against the Green Bay Packers in 2014.

Right now the Cowboys have a lot more problems than just their head coach. They’re the only team in the NFL to score two or fewer touchdowns in every game this season and have done so in eight straight games dating back to last season.

They don’t convert red zone opportunities into touchdowns, and Dak Prescott has only thrown for 200 or more yards twice this season. Things aren’t looking up for the Cowboys either as they take on the Jaguars who are probably upset about the beatdown they took at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs.

If you’re ready for the Cowboys to move on for Garrett I have more bad news for you. The Cowboys have only fired their head coach once before in the middle of the season. And it took Wade Phillips going 1-7 and being blown out on Sunday Night Football for him to get canned.

Sorry Cowboys fans, but you’re stuck with Garrett.
