The 2019 NFL Draft is over six months away, but it is never too early to start looking at those players who could go in the first round. Here is our latest mock.
We are six weeks through the 2018 NFL regular season, and some teams have really begun to pull away from the pack, and seem destined to finish the season in the playoffs. While some have done a nice job to start, others are struggling in a big way, and could find themselves picking very early in round one next April.
Here is our latest 2019 NFL Mock Draft.
Justin Herbert
Quarterback, Oregon
The New York Giants had a big opportunity this Thursday, as they played host to division rival Philadelphia inside Metlife Stadium. However, the offense sputtered once again, losing any momentum gained from their 30-plus point effort against Carolina the week before, and have to wonder how long they can send Eli Manning out under center.
Manning has no offensive line, and with weapons that like to go deep, he just does not have time to get them the ball. Sure, No. 2 overall pick from last year Saquon Barkley is a beast at running back, but you have to wonder whether or not the team made a mistake by not drafting a franchise quarterback in April.
Next April, the Giants could have another opportunity to draft their future franchise signal-caller, and Justin Herbert from Oregon should be the first quarterback off the board. Herbert has the size, and arm to be a legitimate franchise guy at the next level, as the Giants move away from two-time Super Bowl MVP Manning.
