Fantasy football 2018, Week 15 rankings: Who to start and sit

It’s playoff time in just about every fantasy football league and if you’re still alive then you can’t afford to make a poor roster decision.

Once the fantasy football playoffs roll around most owners go with the strategy of playing their studs. This includes playing the players who have performed the best throughout the season. However, that isn’t always the best way to proceed.

Pulling off a win in the fantasy playoffs is tough and one must consider the matchups when putting together a starting lineup.

This week there are more than a few high-end players who have tough matchups. Someone, like Leonard Fournette and Aaron Jones, might be tough to count on this week. Especially Jones, who faces a dominant Chicago Bears defense.

There are also some injury situations clouding the status of several players this week. The Thursday night game is heavily impacted with Melvin Gordon, Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins all dealing with injury concerns.

Gordon’s status might be the most important of the bunch. He’s an elite player who has the ability to win you a fantasy game. However, his status is listed as questionable as he makes his way back from a knee injury.

Complicating the situation more is the fact that his backup, Austin Ekeler, is expected to miss this week’s game. This means that Justin Jackson would be the Chargers main running back if Gordon were to miss the game.

Jackson is one of those sleeper plays who could have a big performance with Gordon out of the lineup.
