2019 NFL mock draft: Giants take Dwayne Haskins

The Arizona Cardinals locked up the top pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and they may end up targeting the best overall edge rusher in the draft class.

The 2018 NFL season is heading to the playoffs, as the Week 17 slate of games wrapped up the regular season. The Arizona Cardinals finished the year by losing at the last second, giving them the top overall selection next April, where they could go a number of different ways with the pick.

Here is our latest 2019 NFL mock draft.

Nick Bosa

Edge, Ohio State

The Arizona Cardinals picked up the first overall selection next April this past Sunday, as they were the only team in the NFL  to finish with only three wins. Because of that, they fired head coach Steven Wilks after only one season, and will now begin their search to find a new guy to lead this young team into the future.

This past season, Arizona not only had to roll with a rookie head coach, but also a quarterback, as Josh Rosen was given the keys to the car in year one. He showed flashes of being a legitimate franchise quarterback at the NFL level, but with little weapons around him, and a bad offensive line, he struggled more than he succeeded.

With the first overall selection in April, the Cardinals could go a number of different ways, but they also may choose to just pick the best player available. They need to start stacking up talent on both sides of the ball, and Nick Bosa from Ohio State would give them the elite pass rusher this draft class has to offer.
