Next weekend will feature four more intriguing playoff games, and here’s how you can watch them.
The NFL playoffs are in full swing. After an action-packed Wild Card weekend, four teams have gone home for the offseason, while four teams have advanced to play in next weekend’s Divisional round, where trips to the AFC and NFC Championship Games will be on the line.
As per usual, the Divisional round will feature two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday. If you’re planning on watching the games, here’s how you can do it.
Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs
This will be the first game to kick off Divisional Weekend, and it will be taking place at 4:35 p.m. ET on Saturday. The broadcast will be coming your way on NBC. It’s not your typical 1-6 matchup in the NFL playoffs, as the game is incredibly winnable for both teams. The Colts are fresh off a convincing 21-7 win over the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round, and they hung a 21-0 lead on them in the first half. They have all the momentum in the world right now, and you can expect them to give the Chiefs all they can handle.
Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams
Saturday’s NFC action will feature a dynamic offense against a stellar defense when the Rams host the Cowboys. Kickoff is slated for 8:15 p.m. ET, and the game will be available to you on FOX. The Cowboys took care of business against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night, but awaiting them now is Jared Goff and Todd Gurley, and one of the league’s most high-powered offensive units. Dallas will undoubtedly be put to the test this week.
Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots
Sunday’s action will kick off at Gilette Stadium with an AFC showdown between the Patriots and Chargers. The game will be broadcast on CBS, and kickoff will take place at 1:05 p.m. ET. Philip Rivers has had an excellent season thus far, but his biggest test to this point will come when he must find a way to defeat Tom Brady in Foxborough — a place where the Patriots are 8-0 this season.
Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints
The Divisional round will wrap up at the Superdome, as the Eagles hope Nick Foles can keep his magic going against Drew Brees and the Saints. Kickoff is slated for 4:40 p.m. ET, and the broadcast will come your way on FOX. The Eagles barely escaped Chicago this weekend thanks to Bears kicker Cody Parkey hitting both the upright and the crossbar. Philly managed just 16 points against the Bears, but they will need much more than that if they hope to advance to the NFC title game.
