Kansas City Chiefs 2019 schedule release: Games, dates and times

The Kansas City Chiefs are going to be playing a litany of primetime games this season, thanks to Patrick Mahomes and a high-flying offense.

After reaching the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 1993, the Kansas City Chiefs are aiming to take things a step further in 2019.

Kansas City is playing a first-place schedule for the third straight season, which means it’ll be seeing the other division winners across the AFC. Then, like the rest of the AFC West, the Chiefs will take on the entire AFC South and the NFC North.

When the Chiefs schedule is announced, we will update immediately.

In the meantime, here is Kansas City will be playing this year on its home and away schedules:

HOME: Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings

AWAY: Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears

With Patrick Mahomes at the controls, Kansas City should have one of the league’s best offenses once more in 2019. The Chiefs are returning a hoard of weapons including wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins, tight end Travis Kelce and running back Damien Williams.

Defensively, the unit has largely been given a makeover. Former coordinator Bob Sutton was replaced by Steve Spagnuolo, while the personnel saw the jettisoning of Justin Houston, Dee Ford and Eric Berry. However, the Chiefs added some talent as well in safety Tyrann Mathieu, defensive end Alex Okafor and cornerback Bashaud Breeland.
