The Tennessee Titans have finished 9-7 each of the past three seasons. Only one of those years saw a trip to the playoffs. Can they do better in 2019?
Consistency is something all teams in the National Football League strive for. That and championships. Both are difficult to achieve without a solid organization. And by all indications, the Tennessee Titans fall under that latter category. Led by general manager Jon Robinson, the club has posted three straight winning seasons after finishing a combined 5-27 from 2014-15.
However, despite some moderate success and even a playoff win in 2017, the club has missed the postseason two of the past three years despite back-to-back-to-back 9-7 showings since ’16. So can this club push both the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South?
When the Tennessee Titans’ schedule is announced, we will update immediately. Here are the team’s 2019 opponents, home and away.
Home: Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Head coach Mike Vrabel enters his second year at the helm and hopes that the club’s offseason additions can swing the balance of power in the division. The Titans traded for quarterback Ryan Tannehill as an insurance policy for oft-injured Marcus Mariota. The newcomers include wide receiver Adam Humphries, guard Rodger Saffold and veteran pass-rusher Cameron Wake.
A year ago, the Titans only selected four players in the draft. In 2019, Robinson has just six selections at his disposal. The team is relying on its homegrown talent base and the aforementioned veteran additions to make a run at the team’s first division title since 2008. Does Vrbael’s team have enough to get the job done?
