With the 2019 NFL Draft scheduled to kick off on Thursday, we take a look at our final mock draft, and Arizona you are officially on the clock.
It is finally the week of the 2019 NFL Draft, as the action will kick off on Thursday night with the Arizona Cardinals holding the first overall selection. The first round will be highlighted by the Oakland Raiders, who hold three first round picks, as well as the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers, who each hold two.
With that said, here is our last 2019 NFL mock draft.
Kyler Murray
Quarterback, Oklahoma
The Arizona Cardinals are officially on the clock, as there is only four days remaining until the 2019 NFL Draft. All the noise surrounding this team and this pick has been pointing towards the team adding a franchise quarterback at No. 1 overall, and we believe that to be true as well.
Sure, they traded up to draft Josh Rosen from UCLA in the first round last year, but he does not fit the offensive scheme of new head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The player in this draft class that does just that is Kyler Murray, who should be the first name we hear called this Thursday night in Nashville.
Murray is an incredibly gifted quarterback, and is coming off winning the Heisman Trophy in his only season as the starter for the Oklahoma Sooners. Kingsbury is going to want the right guy steering his ship in his first season as a head coach in the NFL, and Murray appears to be his first choice at this point.
