New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady went on Jimmy Kimmel Live and proved that he’s good at football, and decent at comedy.
Jimmy Kimmel had a pretty good football player join him for his show on Thursday night.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady stopped by in the Los Angeles studio and dished on a variety of topics, including why he doesn’t worry about his salary, his half-dozen Super Bowl rings and whether he actually believes in taking time to relax during the offseason.
Perhaps the best part of the spot happened when Brady and Kimmel visited the residence of actor Matt Damon. Damon gets the unfortunate wake-up call of Brady firing a spiral through his upstairs window, making the actor of The Martian and Good Will Hunting come out of the home.
For Brady, the offseason is slipping by once more. The Patriots will be in OTAs throughout a few weekends in June before hitting mandatory minicamp. After that, the team will get a month off before Head Coach Bill Belichick has them up and going for training camp in late July.
New England is trying to win its seventh Super Bowl in the Brady-Belichick era and attempting to reach its fourth straight Super Bowl. The only team to every play in four straight Super Bowls was the Buffalo Bills from 1990-93, although Buffalo famously lost all four.
Turning 42 years old in August, Brady has shown no signs of slowing down. After beating Philip Rivers, Patrick Mahomes and Jared Goff in the postseason, he appears ready to continue his dominance into the 2019 season.
