The Los Angeles Chargers wasted no time revealing their new logo ahead of this season. It is so much better than the Los Angeles Rams’, it’s not even funny.
And there you have it, the Los Angeles Chargers’ have a new logo.
While the Bolts teased us with the powder blue uniforms making a full-time comeback in 2020, Los Angeles got right to the point with their updated logo. It’s clean, it’s simple and it’s so much better than the yellow comb-over monstrosity the city rival Los Angeles Rams unleashed to the world yesterday. Calling it rough would be putting it kindly.
With the new Chargers’ logo ahead of the upcoming season, you’ll see the iconic bolt that so needed to be there because they’re the Chargers. You will also find a healthy amount of powder blue, meaning the Bolts will be rocking those sweet powder blues again full-time for the enjoyment of football fans all over the world. Making that leg of the A into a lightning bolt, perfect.
For a franchise who left sunny San Diego to play in a soccer stadium for two years in front of almost entirely road fans in Carson, to end up with the best new uniform and logo reveal we have ever seen this offseason, you can almost forget who they lost out on the Tom Brady free agency sweepstakes. Can you even imagine how much merchandise he would push for them?
Overall, it’s rare to see such a snake-bitten NFL franchise like the Chargers do so much winning in the offseason. They’ve made good moves in free agency outside of failing to land Brady. Who is not going to end up buying a new Chargers’ powder blue jersey? And just look at this logo! It is everything we needed to see to signify this will be a new era of Chargers football in Los Angeles.
