The New York Giants will enter this month’s NFL Draft with 10 total picks, including the fourth-overall selection in the first round. Here is a mock draft.

Not too long ago people used to describe the New York Giants as a winning football team, with two Super Bowl wins in five years and multiple playoff appearances to their name. People have stopped using such terms to talk about this team, as they have become a losing franchise.

Yet again, general manager Dave Gettleman will pick high in the first round, and he has a lot of holes to plug on his roster.

Primarily, the Giants need to focus on the offensive line, wide receiver position and defense. Gettleman drafted heavily on the defense last year, so expect him to prioritize the line and receiver early on this month.

Here is a full 2020 NFL mock draft for the Giants. Who could they pick?

1st round

Andrew Thomas

Offensive tackle, Bulldogs

Yes, fans can dream of Chase Young falling past the first three picks and landing in the laps of the Giants. However, those dreams are probably just that: dreams.

In all likelihood, Gettleman will select an offensive lineman at No. 4 if he doesn’t decide to trade back. Andrew Thomas is the guy, and he has the potential to be a mainstay on the team’s line for years.

Thomas played both right and left tackle at Georgia. For the Giants, left tackle is currently occupied by Nate Solder.

Thomas can play right tackle in the NFL while Solder’s contract is handled, and then move to left if need be. Regardless, the Giants would be drafting a great blocker, especially as a pass protector.

At the combine, he ran a 5.22 unofficial 40-yard dash with a 4.66 20-yard shuttle and 7.58 second 3-cone drill.
