Green Bay Packers 2020 NFL Draft grades. Did the Packers get Aaron Rodgers enough help to make a run toward another Super Bowl this season?

The Green Bay Packers entered the 2020 NFL Draft with 11 total draft picks, but five of those picks were in the sixth and seventh round. The Packers held their own picks in the first five to funds and were picking toward the bottom of the draft after their 13-win season that saw the team reach the NFC Championship Game.

Will this year’s draft picks help the Packers go the next step and reach the Super Bowl?

Jordan Love

QB Utah State

The Packers traded up to draft Utah State quarterback Jordan Love, the fourth quarterback taken in the first round, and create a firestorm with Aaron Rodgers still on the roster. The Packers did this before when they took Rodgers after he fell from potential No. 1 pick to No. 24 for the Packers. In that case, the Packers never could have imagined that the potential top pick would fall in their laps, so despite the presence of Brett Favre, the Packers took the quarterback.

The Packers are believers in his 6-foot-4, 224-pound size and big arm that has drawn comparisons to Patrick Mahomes because of his ability to throw on all platforms. After throwing 17 interceptions, Love has flaws in his game, so sitting behind Rodgers for two-plus years could go a long way in him reaching his potential when he gets his opportunity, whenever that comes.
