Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman raced each other
The NFL community is absolutely obsessed with the league’s fastest players, which is why everyone looks to see if any potential prospect will break the 40-yard dash record at the NFL combine or argue over who would win a race between the NFL’s fastest players.
But we may no longer have to argue over who is truly the fastest player in the NFL since the two Kansas City Chiefs speedsters, receivers Mecole Hardman and Tyreek Hill, who are generally considered the fastest players in the league, raced each other.
The two of them are both incredibly fast with Hardman’s official 40-yard dash time clocking in at 4.33 seconds. And Hill has a very impressive, and slightly better, 40-yard dash time of 4.29 seconds .
Hardman and Hill competed against each other in both a 40 and 60-yard dash, and there is a video, but there’s also a catch to them releasing it for the public to enjoy.
Hill has posted a Twitter challenge that will decide the video’s fate
After the two raced, Hardman sent out a tweet confirming that the race did happen, and asked everyone who they thought won. Hill then quoted Hardman’s tweet, saying he’ll release the video if his tweet is able to “get 15k.” Thankfully, he did just that.
The NFL’s ultimate foot-race went to Hill, and that should come as no surprise. As fast as Hardman is, we have to give him credit for even keeping up with Tyreek in the first place.
