Large number of Cowboys players and coaches forming bubble ahead of camp starting

The Dallas Cowboys are seeing a high number of players and coaches join the bubble movement leading up to training camp this week.

As we’ve seen for the NBA, NHL and WNBA in particular, sports leagues that form a bubble have seen tremendous results with their fights against the coronavirus. MLB didn’t follow suit, and we’e all seen how bad the results have been.

While it’d be virtually impossible to create a bubble format for the NFL, that isn’t stopping teams from forming one themselves leading up to the 2020 campaign.

Per reports, the Dallas Cowboys are seeing a large number of players and coaches join the bubble movement.

The Dallas Cowboys have their own bubble forming

Per ESPN insiders Adam Schefter and Todd Archer, coaches, staff members and players will all be checking in to the Omni Hotel, which is right by the Dallas training facility. Don’t feel bad for the players, though, as the Omni Hotel is rated five stars.

The reasoning behind getting everyone to the Omni? It’s clear as day, as Dallas wants to do everything in its power to make sure everyone within the organization isn’t being put at any risk of potentially catching the virus, or even worse spread it.

According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, Cowboys rookies have already checked into the Omni Hotel and are just waiting for the rest of their teammates and coaches to get there. It should also be noted that, per ESPN, the Cowboys are not making it mandatory for the players to stay there. However, it seems like just about everyone is on board with the idea.

With Mike McCarthy entering his first year as head coach of America’s Team, Dallas looks quite serious in doing everything they can do win the NFC East, and go on a run for the Super Bowl.
