The proud team from the City of Brotherly Love owns 4 NFL championships.

The Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl (LII) in 2017 as game MVP Nick Foles turned in quite the performance. He threw for 373 yards and three scores (1 interception), plus caught a very “special” touchdown pass near the end of the first half in the team’s stirring 41-33 victory over the then-defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

It was actually the franchise’s fourth NFL championship and the first since 1960 – six years before the Super Bowl era. The Eagles also won NFL titles in back-to-back years in 1948 and ’49. The team has quite the storied history dating back to 1933. So what 10 players are considered the greatest in club history for the reigning NFC East champions?

10. RB Brian Westbrook

Head coach Andy Reid got the most out of a third-round pick from Villanova University. Versatile Brian Westbrook would eventually become the Philadelphia Eagles’ primary running back in his third season in 2004 and all told, he would spend a total of eight years with the club.

In his second year in 2003, it is worth noting Westbrook played in 15 contests (eight starts) and while he finished with a modest 945 scrimmage years, he reached the end zone 11 times.

In ’04, he totaled an impressive 1,515 yards from scrimmage and nine scores in only 13 games. That was good enough to earn a Pro Bowl invitation that year, one of two nods for Westbrook during his days with the team. Three years later, he would also earn All-Pro accolades after leading the NFL with 2,104 yards from scrimmage.

In eight years with Philadelphia, the 5-foot-10, 203-pound weapon ran for 5,995 yards and 37 touchdowns, plus caught 426 passes for 3,790 yards and 29 touchdowns.
