Patrick Mahomes is clearly already focused on bringing more Super Bowl wins back to Kansas City after receiving his first ring this week.
After winning the Super Bowl this past February, Patrick Mahomes knows exactly what it takes to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to the promised land. After receiving his Super Bowl ring on Tuesday, the former MVP is now ready to have this feeling take place many more times.
The way the Chiefs are built right now, many fans out there think a dynasty is well within reach. For Mahomes, he couldn’t be happier to be in Kansas City and sent a statement on Twitter that he’s ready to do whatever it takes to bring home another Super Bowl title this season.
The Kansas City Chiefs enjoyed an incredible offseason and are the favorites to win the Super Bowl this winter
As you can see in his tweet above, Mahomes is using last campaign’s Super Bowl victory as motivation for this upcoming campaign. That’s rough news for the rest of the NFL, as the Chiefs are coming off an outstanding offseason.
In addition to signing Mahomes to his historic extension, the Chiefs also got things done with Travis Kelce and Chris Jones. In addition to that, they added former LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire to the offense, selecting him in the first round of the NFL Draft. With Damien Williams opting out, Edwards-Helaire is expected to play a major role for the Chiefs as a rookie.
As soon as Week 1 arrives in less than two weeks, the Chiefs will undoubtedly be the No. 1 team with a target on their backs. The reigning Super Bowl champs will have monster expectations, but Mahomes is ready to step up to any challenge that comes the team’s way.
