Alvin Kamara improbable touchdown was literally jaw-dropping (Video)

Alvin Kamara had an impressive touchdown catch and run Sunday night.

The New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers represent one of the best matchups in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season. The Saints took a lead into halftime and the game was tied up 27-27 heading into the fourth quarter.

That is thanks to a huge catch and run from Alvin Kamara. His play was so great it may put Mike Pettine’s job security in question.

Alvin Kamara looking like a star

The Packers defense has to be embarrassed after this one. There are four or five missed tackles on the play and the lack of wrapping up Kamara is enough to drive any fan in Green Bay insane. The play was officially a 52-yard touchdown, but Kamara covered much more ground than that.

The narrative surrounding the running back before the season was whether the Saints would give him the extension he wanted and deserved. That drama was put aside this month when he received a five-year extension worth $75 million.

The do-it-all back shares his carries with Latavius Murray, however, he is invaluable in the passing game. Kamara was well over 100 yards after his touchdown catch and is the top target on a team still without Michael Thomas on the field.

Next: Alvin Kamara is now the most valuable player in fantasy

New Orleans moved on from Mark Ingram in 2019 and paved the way for Kamara to be a featured star on offense. The extension gave him security and this touchdown run to make the Packers defense look foolish proves why the organization made the smart move to pay the man.
