In a stunning development, it’s been reported that Antonio Brown has been staying at Tom Brady’s house as he learns the Tampa Bay playbook.
When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers surprised us all and signed controversial wide receiver Antonio Brown, just about everyone assumed Tom Brady played a major role in that, despite Bruce Arians saying that wasn’t the case. Come on, dude. We’re not buying that.
In the latest reports out of Tampa Bay, it’s clear Brady is ready to do whatever it takes to help Brown get his career back on track with the Bucs. This includes hosting him to stay at the Brady palace while he learns the playbook? You better believe it.
Tom Brady letting Antonio Brown sleep at his house while he learns the playbook is just odd
This isn’t the first time Brady has opened up his doors and guest room to Brown, as he offered to do the same for the speedster when he made his way to New England last year. Brown’s stay with the Pats was short lived, though, as the team released him in the middle of his off-field issues and drama.
Now, Brady is hoping Brown can help get this offense over the top, which is why he’s rolled out the red carpet for him in Florida. When healthy and on the field, there’s no denying Brown can be an elite playmaker, but he hasn’t played in a game in a year.
While he might be in incredible shape, he’s not expected to step in and start recording 100-yard, multi-score games. When he does hit the field, Brady wants to make sure Brown is as ready as can be to take the NFC South by storm. If Brady thinks having Brown stay at his home to stay focused, then we suppose all we can do is see how things play out.
