NFL Week 9 full schedule

There are 14 games being played in the NFL during Week 9 of the 2020 season.

28 of the 32 NFL franchises will be playing games in Week 9 of the 2020 season.

With it being the first full week of November, that means we are firmly onto the second half of the season. Though there are teams vying for playoff positioning, there are others who have next to no chance of getting into the postseason, despite the expanded field. Let’s find out which teams are playing each other this weekend and what four teams will be on their annual bye week.

Here is the schedule for Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season

Thursday, Nov. 5 (8:20 p.m. ET)

Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles will be on bye.

Thursday Night Football gives us the two best teams from the NFC a season ago. The San Francisco 49ers will host the Green Bay Packers in a game where both teams needed a victory. They lost in Week 8 and need wins to keep pace with the best teams in the NFC. Green Bay can still win the NFC North, while San Francisco is probably not winning the NFC West again in 2020.

Sunday Night Football may end up deciding the NFC South race, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the New Orleans Saints in primetime. Though the Saints won the first installment of the series back in Week 1, Tampa Bay has since caught fire. Both teams should make the NFC playoffs, but only one of them will get to host a home playoff game this January.

Next: NFL Week 9: Odds for each game

Monday Night Football will not be as appetizing as we initially thought it would be. The New York Jets haven’t won a game this season and the New England Patriots…the New England Patriots have only won two games. We have a strong feeling about who is going to win this AFC East rivalry game. Unfortunately, it will not be the viewing public by any stretch of the imagination.
