The Chicago Bears need to make some big moves on offense.
It’s the same old song and dance for the Chicago Bears. At 5-3 and in possession of one of the league’s best defenses, the Bears are being let down by the poor quarterback play of Nick Foles and an offense that looks completely discombobulated at the moment.
While they stood pat at the 2020 trade deadline, Ryan Pace might be able to fix their offense if he adds one of these three players in the spring.
These three players could help the Bears if they get them in a trade

Matt Breida
RB Miami Dolphins
David Montgomery has plenty of the traits you look for in an NFL running back, but it’s clear that his slower, patient style isn’t meshing with Nagy’s West Coast style that favors speed and lateral quickness. While he has potential, Chicago is better off with a faster back that can be a more deadly threat in the passing game. If Pace wants to improve the offense without making a huge, wholesale chance, adding Breida might be the way to go.
Breida got some starts for the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers in 2019, but the emergence of Raheem Mostert in the playoffs led to San Francisco sending him to Miami in a trade. While Myles Gaskin has assumed RB1 duties for the Dolphins, that doesn’t mean that Breida’s value as a back is completely shot. Pace could flip a late-round pick to Miami if he wants to undertake the task of rehabbing Breida’s rep around the league. A better option than trying to plug the square peg known as Cordarrelle Patterson into the proverbial round hole, Breida’s speed would take some of the pressure off of whoever is under center.
