Teddy Bridgewater went Superman on the Chiefs to convert 4th and forever

Teddy Bridgewater shows off his legs on this impressive fourth-down conversion

Teddy Bridgewater made something out of nothing to convert on this fourth-and-forever.

The Carolina Panthers may have fallen back into being a rebuilding team under first-year head coach Matt Rhule in recent weeks. While the Panthers may not have the talent of some of the best teams in the NFL, they play with a ton of heart. This could not be illustrated more than by the great effort from Bridgewater to get the first on this fourth-and-14. He went Superman on it!

Teddy Bridgewater should be the Panthers’ starting quarterback next year

Even though the Panthers will be picking somewhere near the top 10 of the 2021 NFL Draft, they have the quarterback they need to win games in Bridgewater. While it might be enticing to see if talented college quarterbacks like Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields and Trey Lance could make it work in Charlotte, keep in mind Bridgewater was a former college star and a first-round pick.

Next: Kyle Allen somehow avoids the absolute worst-case scenario

Given what Bridgewater has overcome from his ghastly 2016 season-ending injury, how can you not root for the guy? He is a team player and one who has no issue about putting the team on his back in key moments like this. Carolina may be at a talent disadvantage against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, but that will not stop Bridgewater from playing hard.

Bridgewater has earned the right to be the Panthers’ starting quarterback again next season.
