The Kansas City Chiefs are 10-1, and Patrick Mahomes is on pace for his second 5,000-yard season, and clearly another MVP award.

In the 2020 FanSided NFL quarterback rankings — which go live here every Tuesday morning throughout the regular season — we use a weighted average of current and past performances, with the former meaning more than the latter.

Let’s party…

32

Brandon Allen

QB Cincinnati Bengals

2020 stats: 136 yards | 58.6 completion % | 1 TDs | 1 INTs | 4.7 YPA | 10.9 QBR

Last Week: NA

Somehow, the Bengals are starting Brandon Allen. Without Joe Burrow, it’s tough seeing Cincinnati win a game the rest of the year.

31

Mike Glennon

QB Jacksonville Jaguars

2020 stats: 235 yards | 57.1 completion % | 2 TDs | 0 INTs | 6.7 YPA | 48.0 QBR

Last Week: NA

Could you believe your eyes when you saw “Glennon” go across the ticker on Sunday? Me neither. We live in a strange place.

30

Sam Darnold

QB New York Jets

2020 stats: 1,242 yards | 58.7 completion % | 3 TDs | 8 INTs | 5.7 YPA | 36.7 QBR

Last Week: NA

The Jets are 0-11, and Darnold is the poster child for a franchise who can’t figure how to properly utilize any of its assets. Talented but with bad habits, Darnold is regressing by the day.

29

Mitch Trubisky

QB Chicago Bears

2020 stats: 802 yards | 58.3 completion % | 9 TDs | 5 INTs | 6.1 YPA | 54.1 QBR

Last Week: NA

Nothing says Trubisky like scrambling around aimlessly while launching two of the ugliest interceptions you’ll ever see. Please make it stop.

28

Taysom Hill

QB New Orleans Saints

2020 stats: 397 yards | 70.5 completion % | 0 TDs | 1 INTs | 9.0 YPA | 53.2 QBR

Last Week: 23

Hill looked promising in his first start against the Falcons. Then, Denver happened. The BYU product threw for 78 yards and an interception, all while producing exactly two completions more than five air yards. Not great.

27

Carson Wentz

QB Philadelphia Eagles

2020 stats: 2,326 yards | 58.4 completion % | 14 TDs | 14 INTs | 6.2 YPA | 48.1 QBR

Last Week: 28

Wentz leads the league in turnovers. He also leads the NFL in looking completely shattered from a confidence standpoint. The Eagles need to rebuild him from the ground up, and it might be best for all parties to do so while Jalen Hurts plays out the string.

26

Drew Lock

QB Denver Broncos

2020 stats: 1,767 yards | 55.6 completion % | 7 TDs | 11 INTs | 6.6 YPA | 40.2 QBR

Last Week: 27

Lock didn’t play on Sunday because, well, he’s a quarterback for the Denver Broncos. He returns for Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead, getting a chance to pull perhaps the season’s biggest upset. To this point, Lock has been dreadful with accuracy and decision-making.

25

Nick Mullens

QB San Francisco 49ers

2020 stats: 1,642 yards | 67.5 completion % | 6 TDs | 7 INTs | 8.0 YPA | 44.7 QBR

Last Week: 26

Mullens is the quintessential backup quarterback. He makes ugly mistakes, he makes some very nice throws, has a touch of mobility and generally keeps his team in the game. Against the Rams, it was enough to get a surprise win.
