Browns fans can’t wait for so-called Freddie Kitchens revenge game

Due to Jason Garrett testing positive for the coronavirus, Freddie Kitchens will call plays for the Giants against the Browns.

The Freddie Kitchens revenge game is on the way? News broke on Thursday morning the New York Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has tested positive for the coronavirus, meaning tight ends coach Kitchens will call plays on Sunday against the Browns, his former team.

Kitchens was fired by the Browns last December after one terrible season running the show in Cleveland. Now, he’ll be the one running the offense for the Giants against Cleveland? Browns fans know what’s coming and they’re having a field day on Twitter about it.

It’s no secret Kitchens struggled as head coach for the Browns in 2019. What a difference Kevin Stefanski had made for Cleveland, though, as the Browns enter their Week 15 matchup with the Giants at 9-4. They’ve surprisingly had an incredible year and are on the verge of making the playoffs for the first time in 2002.

With their nine wins, Cleveland also has its first winning record since 2007. Now, they’ll look to earn win No. 10 on Sunday on the road against New York.

Things won’t be easy and Kitchens will now do everything in his power to try and get the last laugh against his old team. If you ask Browns fans, there’s no chance that will happen and Kitchens is in for a world of hurt come Sunday.
