Michigan football fans will be ecstatic to see so many Wolverines playing in Super Bowl 55, as will LSU football fans.
With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers “hosting” the Kansas City Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium in two Sundays, we will see plenty of former college stars out in full force. Whether you root for Michigan, LSU or any other college team for that matter, here is a list of some of the school that will be the most represented at Super Bowl 55. Some of these programs listed may shock you.

With players like Tom Brady and Frank Clark representing Michigan and Leonard Fournette and Tyrann Mathieu representing LSU, both schools are well-represented at seven players and six players apiece, respectively. Programs like Clemson, Iowa, Penn State and South Carolina have four apiece. Five other programs have at least three of its former players in Super Bowl 55.
Ultimately, having this many players playing in the Super Bowl from a particular school is a massive recruiting advantage. The head coach of said school can point to this NFL title bout and say, “If you come play for me, I can get you to the NFL and you might end up playing in a Super Bowl.” It is a bit of a reach, but you would not put this past the most relentless college recruiters.
Look for former Wolverines and Tigers to play a big part in if the Chiefs or Buccaneers win.
