Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley decided to troll former quarterback Baker Mayfield with a hilarious video.
Before Baker Mayfield was trying to lead the Cleveland Browns to a Super Bowl, he formed a dynamic duo at Oklahoma with head coach Lincoln Riley.
Mayfield transferred there after a rough start to his college career at Texas Tech and the rest is history. Riley’s offense allowed Mayfield to thrive and it resulted in both a Heisman and a No. 1 overall selection in the NFL Draft.
Mayfield’s career serves as the best possible recruiting tool for Riley. The two seem to have a great relationship and Riley made that clear with a great troll of his former quarterback on Twitter.

Mayfield showed up in Oklahoma ready to prove everyone wrong. He had to be a tough kid to coach, in a good way, and Riley made it clear with this hilarious tweet.
The video itself is amazing even without the Mayfield context. That kid is doing things his way and won’t be told otherwise. That is an easy lifestyle to applaud.
Mayfield transferring to Oklahoma was the best move he ever made. Riley gave him an opportunity and that was all he ever wanted and needed. Now quarterbacks signing with Oklahoma will attempt to figure out how they too can have the same success with Riley and also become lifelong friends.
Winning a Heisman and making Riley look like a coaching legend would be a good start.
