Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was beyond fired up when speaking to Mississippi State players after they won the College World Series.
As much as Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott loves America’s team, he’s also still a die-hard fan of his alma mater. On Wednesday, his Mississippi State Bulldogs made history, taking down Vanderbilt to win the 2021 College World Series.
Video of Prescott losing his mind after the win went viral. Now, a clip has made its way to Twitter of the star signal-caller talking with the Bulldogs players after the unforgettable victory. It’s truly something you’re going to want to see.
Mississippi State got a message from Dak Prescott at CWS
Prescott was incredibly emotional speaking to the youngsters. Everyone figured Vanderbilt would be able to get the job done, especially with future first-round pick Kumar Rocker on the bump. Instead, Mississippi State absolutely lit him up.
Prescott could not have been happier to see it. Again, he loves his former school more than most things, so to see them stun the country and make history like this is something he’ll cherish for a long time.
Looking ahead to the 2021 campaign, Prescott is ready to get back on the field in Week 1 and wipe away the rough memories from 2020 when he suffered his fractured ankle. Dallas of course missed the postseason with Andy Dalton running the offense. The drop off from Prescott to him was, well, we don’t need to tell you how bad things were.
Now that Prescott is back to full health, however, he’ll be ready to remind folks of why he’s one of the more electric players in the game. This Mississippi State win will likely only add more fuel to the fire for him too.
