Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney spoiled the best game of his rookie season by being ejected for losing his mind and punching a Cowboys defender.
Rookies do dumb things sometimes, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a more stupid mistake than the one Kadarius Toney pulled against the Cowboys.
In the midst of his most impressive game as a young pro, Toney lost his cool and threw a punch.
Kadarius Toney threw a punch and got ejected from the Giants-Cowboys game
Toney wasn’t involved in the initial shoving match between the Giants and Cowboys that was clearly a reflection of frustration as New York fell behind to their division rival. He injected himself in the worst way possible.
The ejection was never in question. Throwing a punch at a man in a helmet is already a brainless move. Doing it right in front of multiple officials is incredibly dumb.
It’s especially unfortunate because Toney was leading the Giants with 10 receptions for 189 yards. It was a great day for him, totally spoiled.
